The Remembrance

Everytime the sun seems touching
Cool calm water, darkness closes
On this field of scarves my lonesome thoughts

We meet again in dreams of longing
Blame nor sorrow fades the bruises
Of this glorious past relives the grandeur
All those years left here undone

Everywhere I roam or I may go
Everywhen I aim for what's unknown
Remembrance still stands firm

The sound of wind and rain and thunder
Guide me back to all those wonders
This burdon on my shoulder woes my soul

Where the water growls to die in
Still opens up a new horizon
Down the hill sounds laughter in the valley
Where the seeds of hope are thrown

Long journey to these unknown places
Remembrance of familiar faces
Help to find the path I have to walk

In honour and in warm remembrance
Carry on in brave persistence
Once will come the day we have to look
And justify what we have done
